Tara Bergin

… her debut ›This is Yarrow‹ in 2013 was published by Carcanet in England and was celebrated by critics. It received the ›Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry Prize‹ as well as the ›Shine/Strong Award‹. Her recent poetry was published in various literary magazines, such as the ›PN Review‹, ›Granta‹, ›Poetry‹ (Chicago), and ›Poetry Ireland Review‹. Her second collection of poems is being greatly anticipated and will be available in the summer of 2017. Bergin lives in Northern England since 2012. She completed her dissertation on Ted Hughesˈs translations of the Hungarian poet János Pilinszky. She also teaches at the University of Newcastle.
